Parnell Residence

This Parnell residence was transformed over three floors into a modern and sophisticated family home. The interior design remained cohesive throughout the home by maintaining a warm colour palette and overall feel. Layering varying patterns, textures and materiality unique to each room creates an element of surprise and interest throughout the home.

The fireplace was refurbished to become the heart of this special lounge room. A new stone hearth and polished plastered finish to the fireplace transformed it into a modern backdrop for carefully curated furniture, lighting and objects.

Outdated fixtures and finishes were replaced with contemporary, high-quality selections. This included the installation of new herringbone oak timber flooring, fresh paint throughout, custom-built crittall interior sliding doors and louvre window treatments.

Paint was used to transform the TV room by enveloping the walls, ceiling and a new custom built TV unit. The space transformed into a moody feature of the home while becoming a haven of comfort and relaxation.
