Award Winning Pitau Home

The award-winning home showcases exceptional craftsmanship, design innovation, and architectural precision, all within 309m² of highly detailed, expertly executed construction. Brought to life through hard work, passion, and a dedication to creating homes that are truly works of art, this residence showcases three spacious bedrooms with ensuites, a custom-designed kitchen, and expansive living and dining areas that seamlessly connect to alfresco entertaining spaces. Designed by Adam Taylor of ATA, the striking angled cedar cladding defines the upper level — a pioneering design feature never before seen in New Zealand. The aluminium joinery is recessed within custom-built hoods, framed by ATA’s distinctive cedar detailing. The lower level features Belgian brickwork complemented by a precision-detailed negative cedar soffit above. Inside, salt-and-pepper polished concrete floors with white oxide detailing are hydronically heated, ensuring lasting warmth and energy efficiency. Each bedroom enjoys views toward the iconic Mount Maunganui landscape, while the ensuites are finished in full travertine stone tiling. Every element — from the custom shower doors and mirrors to the handrails and interior detailing — reflects meticulous attention to detail and refined design. Concealed-hinge interior doors with plastered jambs and 5mm negative detailing to all floor junctions create a seamless aesthetic, enhanced by premium Buster + Punch hardware. Elegant Forté timber flooring flows throughout the upper level and bedrooms, lending timeless warmth and sophistication. Private yet commanding from the street, this residence achieves the perfect balance of architectural presence and understated luxury — a testament to the client’s vision and our commitment to excellence.
