Our brief for this sensitively detailed, seaside home was to create ‘a beachy feel with a touch of drama’.
A choice of natural finishes – soft curtains, pale timbers, cool stone – reflect the calm, estuarine views outside. For drama, we introduced a recurring design motif in black steel: a steel-framed kitchen island, decorative steel balustrades and custom steel-framed furnishings inscribe strong, artful lines on the home’s tranquil palette. In the bathrooms, uplit floating cabinetry and textured wall treatments add further depth to the home’s visual story.
The result is a home that speaks eloquently of its beachside location while drawing its own distinct presence.
