A kitchen that exudes a modern clean style with its bright, airy aesthetic and functional layout.

Featuring an open plan kitchen dining, this project creates space through the vaulted ceiling aesthetics drawing the eye upward and creating a light-filled room.

The palette is clean and classic, with crisp white cabinetry that contrasts with the black hardware and stainless steel accents. The light wood flooring adds warmth and balances the cooler tones in the stainless steel appliances and fixtures.

The island is a standout with the countertop completed with Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo providing warm tones with its elegant soft veining into a waterfall edge. Both visually appealing durable and easy to clean.

The butler’s pantry, visible from the kitchen, is highly organised and provides additional workspace and storage. It’s a practical yet stylish addition, with white cabinets and open shelving for easy access to pantry items.

The pendant lights hanging above the kitchen island and the recessed lighting provide ample illumination for both cooking and entertaining, adding layers of light that are both functional and atmospheric. Much natural light is also visible and adds to the spaciousness of the kitchen.

The classic white tile backsplash with dark grout ties in well with the cabinetry and adds a timeless, clean look to the cooking area. It’s also practical for easy cleaning, which is ideal for a high-use space like this.

Overall the design by Vikki Whyte combines elegance and practicality, blending modern and classic elements to create a welcoming space perfect for both cooking and gathering. A kitchen that the team at Modern Age Kitchens & Joinery are very proud of.
