Brendan and Alex, a husband and wife team, have transformed their first family home into a relaxed modern oasis in a picturesque spot in Somers on the Mornington Peninsula.

Alex with a background in management of high-end fashion brands, and a keen eye for interiors, and Brendan a self-made qualified builder and director of Sealanda Building Group, applied their creative and hands-on talents to transform the property into an airy, fresh and luxurious beach abode featuring superb finishes and fittings and unique interior accents.

The home has been extended and remodelled throughout, inspired by mid-century modern Palm Springs architecture and Slim Aarons’ depicted lifestyles, matched with an on-trend Australian aesthetic that perfectly gives the property presence in its sleepy Somers locale.
