Auckland celebrates one of the greatest concentrations of wooden villas in the world, explaining the regular hum of renovation on the western city fringe. While giving the existing native kauri floors a birthday to retain the honesty of the era is romantic in theory, nothing re-boots a squeaky villa floor like a robust 15mm thick engineered oak glue down installation.

In this beautiful St Mary's Bay Villa with views to the Harbour Bridge, EcodureOak's Vintage Betty celebrates and revitalises 140 years of villa life.
