A modern revival of a Traditional Villa in Fendalton, enhancing interior flow and outdoor entertaining spaces while respecting the home's heritage.
An existing two storey Traditional Villa family home located in the well-established suburb of Fendalton was seeking a modern-day revival to better serve the lifestyle of the owners – with a focus on the everyday function and flow of the house and a desirable need to entertain family and friends.
The Traditional Villa’s alterations included a remodelled interior layout and the design of a new outdoor entertaining space with greater connection to the interior living spaces by new larger openings between. To compliment and bring it all together, an overall refreshment of the finishing of the home completed the alterations, respecting the traditional character and cultural heritage of the home.
Overall creating a practical family home that feels light and spacious and serves the owners everyday needs with ease, whilst presenting itself confidentially elegant, ready to entertain and provide the setting and atmosphere for a good night/day with family and friends.
