This small space boasts a vibrant colour palette and high-quality finishes to create an inner-city sanctuary.

For this project, Natural Habitats was proud to receive the following 2021 Landscapes of Distinction Awards:

GOLD - Residential Horticulture (Open project value and property size)

SILVER - Residential Construction up to $50,000

The client appointed Natural Habitats to create an outdoor space that seamlessly transitioned from their recently renovated home. It was essential to enhance the existing fireplace, pool and concrete spa pool to create an at-home oasis in the central city.

This outdoor space already had fantastic features to utilize and enhance for the client. Corten, new wall cladding and a few repairs brought the existing features back to life and prepared them for the full site revamp.

Rusty orange, vibrant greens and smoky purple create a lively feeling for this space, pairing well with the pool, fireplace, and deck. Subtropical planting develops the oasis feeling with generous foliage and colour.

Although small sites can be challenging to navigate, this private residence showcases the impact of considered planting and high-quality finishes.
