Suntory Coffee

A coffee lover’s oasis: the Suntory Coffee Head Office blends together a modern café and a flexible workspace. Home to eight brands that have made their mark with espresso, Suntory Coffee envisaged a workplace that not only reflected their authentic brand but one that created opportunities for their staff to interact away from traditional work settings.

The base building presented a range of unique design opportunities. The rustic heritage building had budding features such as original brick walls and an exposed saw tooth roof that were further accentuated in the overall look and feel.

The existing base build elements such as the steel posts were retained in their original raw finish and paired with framed black metal mesh features and dark stained ply cabinetry resulting in a workspace that was truly one of a kind.

Dark, rich colours and fabrics were incorporated into different mediums to create a raw, mechanical, and tactile environment.
