A harmonious blend of traditional shaker-style design and modern elements, featuring stainless steel wall benches and polished white Macaubus quartzite island, expertly crafted by designer Wayne Church at Neo Design.
At first glance, this new kitchen renovation is a classic, traditional, shaker-style design. Look a bit closer, and there is not a cup handle in sight. Instead, there is a very 2019 negative finger pull handle, that definitely isn't part of the traditional look. In a further nod to modernity, the wall benches are stainless steel and the island is a stunning sheet of polished white Macaubus quartzite. Designer, Wayne Church, says mixing genres can deliver a great result, as long as it is handled with skill and restraint. In this instance, the final outcome is a kitchen that looks even more stunning because the lines are so clean and uncluttered, yet the overall feel is still totally traditional.
Miele ovens/extraction, and a Fisher and Paykel french door fridge/freezer, make easy work of kitchen chores. Classic butchers block tiles on the splashback complete the look.
