The Mancave project provided Hierarchy Group the opportunity to deliver an exceptional, completely bespoke design solution. Created for an avid private collector to showcase his extensive collection of motorbikes, vehicles & memorabilia collected throughout his life, the 420sqm building is part museum, garage, gallery & living space. The cavernous interior, inspired by the New York loft style is predominantly black steel, brick & timber, providing texture and natural ambience without feeling too ‘shedlike’. Distinct spaces and customised display cases were designed specifically for each collection so everything has a place and visual clutter is kept to a minimum.
