Villa Restoration
The restoration of the original homestead was truly a labor of love, from the re-building of the sunken piles to the perfect matching of the rotten veranda. It was a process of recycling the old native timbers where possible and sourcing timbers from elsewhere and then cutting them to shape in the joinery factory. We now believe it does justice to the original. The owners of this amazing property were very clear that this old girl would continue to be a feature of our Hawkes Bay landscape for at least another hundred years.
