This Waihi beach house sits nestled behind a large pohutukawa on a steep hill making the building process quite complex and challenging. We built a split-level home with raking, angular walls to maximise the space and the views whilst staying within caveat restrictions of this beautiful neighborhood. It is unassuming, blending in with the nature around it yet it still meets all the needs of a family of four as a home or vacation spot.
