The Nulook New Home $700,000- $1 million- GOLD AWARD (RMB HOUSE OF THE YEAR AWARDS) A reconstruction of the owners’ earthquake hit home, it features an enhanced layout and contemporary twists while still retaining that classic character. The exterior features charming traditional timber weatherboard, but it’s the finer details that confirm the true craftsmanship here. A total of 78 replicated timber corbels, timber sash windows and four custom-crafted ceiling roses help to retain that period feel. Upon entering the home, you are welcomed by a custom-made archway and a decorative frosted-glass door which leads into the spacious living and dining area. The three bedroom home with kitchen, dining, lounge, laundry, main bathroom and a master bedroom with ensuite offers grand living- even on a fairly modest 150sqm.
