Architectural details:
The pergola is a free standing structure with a separation to the building. This retains the architectural integrity of the existing living pavilion while creating a separate defined space for outdoor living.
Both the mid beam of the steel structure and the timber strip in the concrete patio are centred on the wood burning schist fireplace at one end of the pergola.
