Since 1946 Justor have been producing self closing hardware for all types of doors.  One of their ranges which has become a popular addition here in New Zealand are their Spring Hinges.  There are various types of spring hinges depending on the application.  Typically they offer one of two functions:

Single action spring hinges are suited for panels which can only open one way.  They're used in applications where you want the door to close behind you without having an unsightly closer on the door.

Double action spring hinges are used in applications where the door can open both ways, but still want the panel to return to the closed position.  We see this used very often in restaurants and other applications where there is high foot traffic.

What seperates Justor from other products in the market are the internal features.  These hinges operate using a torsion spring.  Unlike a coil spring, torsion springs don't stretch over time or loose their ability to bounce back when under strain.  The 'strength' of the torsion spring is able to be adjusted to fine tune how the hinges operate on various doors.

In addition to their high level of functionality, Justor's hinges are availble in various finishes and grade of material to keep in line with the aesthetics of a project.  Such finishes include silver anodise, white powder coat, black anodise and stainless steel both SS304 and SS316. (SS316 for high coastal applications, including boats and other marine applications).  There are other finishes available upon request.

All Justor spring hinges have been manufactured to literally be a maintenance free product.  Other spring hinges require periodic greasiong or adjusments.  Justor hinges require just 1 drop of oil in their top caps once a year.

The size of the door will reflect on what size of hinge and how many are required to work correctly.  Feel free to touch base with one of the team at Unique Hardware Solutions for them to specify the best suited product for your project.

Double Action 120mm

Double Action hinges are nothing new to the market place. Often referred to as bommer hinges, they are designed that your panel can open both ways, but also allows the door to self close.  The Justor Double Action 120mm takes something that has been tried and tested to the next level.

Traditionally double action hinges are very bulky and unsightly.  The barrels which hold the springs are very large which takes away from the door itself.  Additionally, the finishes available don't match the trends we see in the markert.  Like the Single Action hinges, Justor Double Action hinges use the torsion spring meaning the barrel of the hinges are much slimmer and discrete.  The wide range of finishes means you don't have to compromise on your project.

Justor DA120 hinges are suited for panels weighing up to 45kg (based on 3 hinges on a panel 600mm wide).  These capabilities our perform it's competitors in the market and also gives customers the ability to move from a pivot door to a spring hinge to help keep costs down.

Within the DA120 range, there are a few different models including a flush wall mount and a heavy duty version.  Touch base with the team at Unique Hardware for further information on these.
