NZCEL strengthened the prominent Asteron Centre, sitting across the railway station, to 100%NBS. This was achieved by utilising an innovative steel plate design scheme to enhance the structure’s diaphragm capacity to modern standards while leaving minimal visual impact to the finished structure.
