At Ridgeline High School in Spokane Valley, Washington, Wovenpanel® wire mesh railing infill panels line the perimeter of various key areas, including the student commons, stairways, and upper-floor balconies. Designed by ALSC Architects, the 22,296 square meter school is centered around promoting openness, collaboration, and accessibility for up to 1,600 students. The expansive design features grand windows, large common spaces, and high ceilings, all of which foster a bright and welcoming atmosphere filled with natural light. The Wovenpanel® wire mesh railings enhance this open concept by offering nearly transparent barriers that provide safety while maintaining the visual flow and connection between spaces, avoiding the need for solid walls.
