FENZ Lyttelton Fire Station: A 700m2 industrial-style facility completed in 2017, designed for Fire and Emergency New Zealand, featuring IL4 rating and resilience against seismic challenges, serving as a vital community resource.

Welcome to the FENZ Lyttelton Fire Station, a project completed in 2017 by APG Architects. With a total area of 700m2, this volunteer station was designed with the needs of Fire and Emergency New Zealand in mind. The building is IL4 rated, providing the required functionality and security sought by FENZ. 

Built in an Industrial style, the FENZ Lyttelton Fire Station blends seamlessly with the town's architectural heritage. 

Overcoming challenges such as varying ground conditions and seismic requirements, this resilient structure stands as a testament to the community it serves. 

Serving as both an office and mixed-use space, this station is not just a functional necessity but an integral part of the surrounding environment.
