Ian and his trained joiners and carpenters are experienced in designing and building custom-made storage solutions and crafted furniture in both new and existing homes. These have been made from various native woods sourced by Ian or from specialty veneers. We also repair and restore furniture.

Chamberlain Homes, based in Taupo, specialise in building and renovating architecturally designed mid- to high-end properties, thermally efficient homes and unusual builds. Through Chamberlain Carpentry & Joinery we can furnish your home with custom made furniture and storage solutions.


Our team members have been chosen for their joinery and/or carpentry skills and qualifications, and also for their experience, knowledge, easy personalities and service skills. Our senior staff are approved members of New Zealand Certified Builders (NZCB) and all staff receive regular training to keep up to date with new techniques, innovations and products in the building industry.
