New Multi-Sport Surface.
Geelong College now has a brilliant new full-size hockey pitch with a TigerTurf Evo Pro multi-sport surface. It also has 12 tennis courts marked in bright white lines within the hockey pitch.

The previous TigerTurf field was installed in 1988, having given many years of consistent performance at Geelong College. We are proud of the good service our clients enjoy in using our sports turfs. This well-loved surface deserved a round of applause on its own merits as it was lifted.

TigerTurf Evo Pro.
TigerTurf’s Evo Pro is manufactured from our most advanced texturised monofilament fibres making it our premium multi-sport surface for schools and clubs. It is a sand dressed system that is deal for hockey, tennis and multi-sports. For hockey, it can be played on either wet or dry and is certified FIH National. It has an ITF fast pace rating and is designed to meet the highest level of performance standards in both hockey and tennis.

The college requested another of our durable technical sports turfs, so we recommended TigerTurf Evo Pro, a superb surface for both hockey and tennis as well as other ball sport.

The College’s selection team visited the Evo Pro pitch TigerTurf had installed at Melbourne Grammar three years earlie. They were impressed with the look and performance of the Evo Pro system, deciding it was perfect for their hockey and tennis facility.

We installed a new rubber pad beneath the surface to absorb impact for the benefit of players’ and to improve the playing performance and durability of this outstanding synthetic turf system.

As a dressed surface, TigerTurf Evo Pro requires no irrigation, good news in view of the dry Victorian summers. The completed multi-sport facility looks fantastic, and will encourage students to take part in range of sports. The sports teams will enjoy some exciting games played on this pitch.

We still make almost all of our products in our Auckland factory, with materials manufactured by our parent company, TenCate Grass.
