“Colleen and I take pleasure in recommending Tomkies Construction Limited to anyone who is looking to have a well built house with attention to detail. ​ I work as Operations Manager for a leading company in Residential over cap earthquake repairs and realised that I could not devote the time to build my own house, so looked for a builder who could provide the quality of build that I would expect. Being in the industry meant I knew what to look for and was confident that my costing and predetermined budget was priced correctly. Mark’s quote was competitive and after checking a few houses at various stages for his build quality, was happy that he would be able to produce what I was looking for. ​ The arrangement was that I would let Mark get on with managing the build, whilst I remained simply the client and didn’t attempt to micro manage the project. I did check as we progressed for key aspects of quality throughout the build and was not disappointed. Mark’s team of guys did a splendid job and the house was finished with almost no snags at its conclusion.
