The client wanted a simple a timeless and modern design with a great flow for entertaining.
Shaker style kitchens are equally suitable for period properties as they are for more contemporary spaces. The key to the timelessness of Shaker kitchens is their simple design, with no elaborate mouldings and great functionality.
The kitchen design incorporates Blum drawers, pullout solutions with orga-line inserts, hafele corner solution making drawers and cupboards to fit each item exactly. Shallow cabinets along the back of the island were installed for glassware easily accessible for outdoor entertaining.
The sink was placed asymmetrically on the island to give a great serving area when entertaining while also keeping it close to the cooking area.
The bench was extended into the window to create more working bench space and the feel of a larger grander space.
Designer white and lana grey cabinetry accompanied with white marble bench kitchen is the epitome of a modern shaker style kitchen. It’s minimalist and sophisticated but also clean and beautiful.
Clean cabinetry lines and modern hardware add a contemporary edge to the traditional shaker style.
Tongue and groove panels add a subtle decorative feature which accentuates the clean lines of the cabinetry and overall design.
The mosaic tiled marble splashback adds a sense of luxury. it’s an effortless look that will continue to look fresh in years to come.
In this contemporary kitchen, we’ve created a unique space that revolves around how the clients live. With sliding doors that open up creating great indoor/outdoor flow from the kitchen to the alfresco dining area.
