These Maraetai homeowners wanted to improve the street front appeal of their home and undertake a few interior upgrades as well; the main bathroom, ensuite, and laundry were looking dated.

Erecting a resort-style extension at the entrance of the home and replacing the old mismatched art-deco roof piece better complements the property’s natural surroundings. Inside, the new bathroom designs have had an equal impact on the feel of the home. The simplicity of the white floor-to-ceiling tiles is punctuated by blue vessel basins which have become the small but bold focal point of the bathrooms.
