This Grey Lynn family home desperately needed an update to be more practical, so the owner reached out to Renovation Partner Dominic Hollands. The renovation included creating two bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry space, and repurposing existing rooms into a spacious lounge.

The living areas are laden with warm wood, retro furniture, and lush exotic greenery for a remarkable mid-century modern style. Down the hall now lives a high-contrast contemporary bathroom.

At the homeowner’s request, the communal areas are a welcoming space, encouraging connection, while the bedroom is a tranquil sanctuary to relax and recharge.
