Located on the historic Copenhagen waterfront, the NH Collection Copenhagen blends mid-century industrial heritage with five-star modern luxury. Originally built in the 1950s as shipyard headquarters, the building has been thoughtfully transformed by Arkitema Architects into a sophisticated hotel that honors its maritime roots.

In the hotel’s grand lobby, a captivating installation of Wovenpanel® in a brass finish brings both artistry and elegance to the ceiling. Suspended above the central stairway, eighteen bespoke mesh tile boxes—each with subtly varying depths—create a dynamic surface that mimics the movement of water just beyond the hotel’s entrance. Enhanced by a glowing, geometric chandelier, the intricate weave of Wovenpanel® captures and reflects light, adding shimmer and texture. This sculptural focal point enriches the hotel’s warm material palette and elevates the lobby with a sense of curated design and quiet drama.
