Rosenbad, a historic landmark owned by the Swedish State and located in central Stockholm’s Norrmalm precinct, was originally designed in 1902 by Art Nouveau architect Ferdinand Boberg. Renowned for its ornate sculptural stonework and the elegance typical of the Art Nouveau style, Rosenbad’s name—translating to "rose bath" in Swedish—reflects the building’s artistic flair.
Undergoing a significant renovation from 2018 to 2023, Rosenbad successfully merges its rich historical architecture with modern decor. Collaborating with the skilled team at Ahrbom & Partner, Pahlfer contributed to this ambitious renovation, ensuring that the building’s storied past seamlessly blends with contemporary design to create a space that respects history while embracing the future.
