The Paroa Bay Residence is situated amidst the natural Northland bush, offering a breathtaking backdrop of the Bay of Islands.
Our clients, a couple from the USA, desired to build their dream home in New Zealand, and hence they bought the bare land and entrusted Arcline with the responsibility of designing their dream home. Despite being located overseas for the duration of the project, our clients had complete faith in the Arcline team and did not visit the site or the house until it was ready to move in.
The Arcline Team worked in close collaboration with the clients and other consultants to ensure that the house blended in seamlessly with the natural landscape, with polished concrete floors and cedar accents that enhanced its surroundings. The home's simple layout maximizes space, featuring an open-plan kitchen and lounge/dining area with polished concrete floors and large glass stacker sliding doors on both sides to enhance outdoor flow. Additionally, the house includes a second living room, 3 bedrooms, an office, and a double garage.
A highlight of this home is the window seat that boasts a large picture-frame window offering stunning views of the bush-clad hills around the Paroa Bay area.
