Located in the heritage precinct of Northcote Point, this project is a thoughtful renovation and extension of an early New Zealand bungalow. While the character of the original home is respected throughout, the renovation introduces new spatial clarity, natural light and a stronger connection to the outdoors. At the rear, a light-filled extension opens up the plan with raked ceilings, skylights and large glazed doors that frame views to the garden. Materials and textures draw on the character of the original bungalow while introducing a fresh, refined palette.
