This Elevate Tilt 145 home was designed for the rugged Raglan coastline with the interior featuring a soft coastal theme, with rustic accents thrown in, in the form of a beautiful bespoke timber fire surround and rusted metal kitchen splash back.

The home will look stunning, perched above the water with a cantilevered wrap around deck overlooking the sea. Extra over height windows added to the living end of the building, ensure all views will be captured to full effect.

Our clients were keen to keep the aesthetic casual and beachy but still contemporary, so the home was clad in rusticated band sawn Western Red cedar, with oversized vertical battens, then stained a silvery shade of sandy grey.

The home has 3 bedrooms, large kitchen with separate scullery, a bathroom, an ensuite, a second separate toilet and laundry. The main, open plan living area features a soaring ceiling with an off-centered ridge that adds loftiness and an architectural feel to this already spacious room.

Although based on the Elevate standard Tilt 145 plan, this home was customized to reflect the location and lifestyle of the owners. Details such as an extra-long island bench for entertaining, exterior doors leading from both the ensuite and bathroom to the spa pool and sliding doors leading from the bedrooms to the deck – were all features used to make this house feel like a home designed with their needs in mind.
