Modal Architecture was approached to take on an ambitious renovation of a 1960s suburban home located in Raumati Beach. Liz, our client, had a vision to revitalise her Lockwood-built home and modernise it to meet the needs of everyday life.
We were excited to take on this project and help our client bring her vision to life. Our team worked diligently to ensure that the interior of this beach house celebrated the home's privileged location with soft, warm materials that filled the home with a cozy feeling. In addition, the exterior of the home was significantly improved with the addition of new cladding, roofing, insulation, windows and doors.
To complete this project, a new infill dwelling was constructed on the back of the property, offering two bedrooms and a deck with an outstanding view of Kapiti Island. Our team took great pride in delivering a stunning, modern design.
