Keeping a lid on it

On time and on budget were not the only goals of this roof refurbishment in East Tamaki. The main priority was to keep the factory operating throughout construction so that the business remained productive and did not suffer losses.

Shutting down was not an option so solutions needed to consider the needs of all involved. This was kept front of mind when estimating the cost of the reroof. Fortunately, our client saw the value of having a QS on the team during the construction stage and Kwanto financially managed the project through to the end. The results speak for themselves; the project was completed under budget, ahead of schedule and without disruption to the factory.
