Scania trucks have a long heritage of innovation, a lot of their reputation is based on creating new and better designs. This is what we were asked to do when chosen to design their Auckland head office, we were asked to create a better environment for their staff and customers and modernise the space.

This project was not just about colours and textures but about the removal and addition of walls to create the offices and meeting rooms that the staff desired and needed. Alongside that, we worked with the Scania brand colours and created interest through the wall colours and carpet, bringing in that proud Scania blue. The timber slat walls, porcelain concrete look wall feature, and the black trims throughout show structure and class and communicate the brand’s innovative reputation. The stairwell was updated with a calmly coloured timber floor, the Scania feature blue paint, an organic slat design, and a large print of a Scania truck. The design is classic whilst refreshing, making it an inviting office to work in and an attractive experience for people visiting.
