Tai Tapu: A spacious country hideaway featuring a vaulted timber ceiling, Waimakariri Stone fire surround, open-style kitchen, and a strategically designed wraparound verandah for optimal thermal comfort throughout the seasons.
A spacious country hideaway close to Christchurch. Vaulted timber ceiling and Waimakariri Stone fire surround connect the spacious living area with the local surroundings and materials. Spacious open style country kitchen provides plenty of room for cooking and entertaining. Carefully positioned wraparound verandah maximises thermal gain during winter, and regulates the hot Canterbury sun during the summer. Locally sourced stone wall conceals luxurious outdoor bathtub adjacent to the master bedroom. An expansive kitchen island provides the perfect space for entertaining guests.
