Tauranga Airport

The Tauranga Airport ceiling uses perforated Timber Panels from T&R Interior Systems for its fantastic look and acoustic performance.
The architect designed the bespoke patterns to compliment the exposed glulam beams. The remaining ceilings in the terminal are C Max Combo in CBI grid to provide acoustic comfort. The Combo tiles control Reverberation time and reduce the amount of noise from outside entering the space. This is especially important when there are aircraft flying overhead frequently.
C&I Systems from Tauranga were 2019 winners of the AWCI Excellence for Commercial Contracts Under $500,000 for the Tauranga Airport project.
