The Lakehouse

Perched gracefully on 34 acres of untouched wilderness, The Lakehouse is a symphony of contemporary architecture and natural harmony. Designed by the acclaimed Alfie Arcuri, this retreat is a shimmering jewel nestled beside the tranquil waters of Lake Yarrunga, where the stillness of the lake mirrors the serenity within. Like a sculpted masterpiece emerging from the landscape, it beckons those seeking refuge in a sanctuary where luxury and seclusion dance in perfect harmony.  Inside, the home unfolds like a luminous canvas, with walls of glass dissolving the boundary between indoors and the whispering lake beyond. Spacious, light-filled interiors with soaring ceilings and polished concrete floors evoke the feeling of floating amidst the clouds, offering panoramic 360° views that paint a constantly changing portrait of nature’s grandeur. Step outside to the travertine terraces, where the infinity pool seems to spill into the horizon, inviting reflection and renewal amidst manicured gardens and the gentle ripple of water.  Every element of The Lakehouse is crafted with a reverence for its environment, from the bespoke blackbutt and stone kitchen to the private ensuites that frame each water-facing bedroom. The master suite is a secluded sanctuary, a cocoon of peace with its own spa-like retreat. Surrounded by the whispers of nature, yet just a short drive from Kangaroo Valley village and within two hours of Sydney, this masterpiece is a testament to architecture that elevates everyday living into an art form, where serenity and elegance converge in perfect harmony.
