By Bridget Foley Design
A large dark villa initially built for the Wellington Mayor in 1907, was transformed into a light and airy family home. Dark timber joinery and floors were painted Bridgets favourite white, instantly transforming the home. Dark heavy curtains were replaced with linen and silk, brass light fixtures replaced with a mixture of comtemporary fittings and antique pendants and chandeliers bought in London and Sydney. The result is timeless as is Bridget Foley Designs signature.
