In the living spaces, the ceiling of the existing brick-and-tile home has been raised to create a triangular clerestory windows that opens up the volume and adds light and shadow.

A natural material palette of timber, stone and brass, with black accents in the joinery and furnishings, are utilised throughout the home and are especially evident in the kitchen.
