Buildology is an Auckland based team of contemporary design and draughting experts, providing inspiring architectural designs along with a loyal service to guide you through your renovation or new build project, locally or nationwide.

Buildology is an architectural design company small enough to have personal connections with our individual clients, large enough to manage the demands of the fast paced industry, clever enough to come up with inspiring contemporary design solutions, and devoted enough to see them successfully implemented.

Adopting inspiration from many different styles we appreciate the timeless, modest characteristics of a historic Villa as much as the defined minimalism of a modern holiday home. We are committed to working alongside our clients and believe our design solution should deliver spaces that are visually stimulating while creating places and spaces you personally require.

Our team of design and draughting experts, with impeccable attention to detail, will take the conceptual plans and produce consent drawings to submit to council in preparation for the build.

My partner and I engaged them to renovate our 1926 Arts and Crafts home for our blended family. All 5 girls needed their own space and own rooms as did we. Our brief was simple. Renovate to give us a modern home that was comfortable, elegant and could easily entertain in. This wasn’t an easy task but they met the brief all the way and in many instances exceeded it. Mark was particularly pleased with his 8 car garage and I was thrilled with the clever use of space which is now our ensuite.

Romé and the team at Buildology helped guide us through every step of our renovation from initial concepts then working drawings and council consent and even during construction until we received our code of compliance certificate. They were amazing to deal with as we had many questions being first time renovators.
We discussed our vision with Allan & Romé for an open plan living area with a retractable deck over the existing swimming pool. We wanted to maximise the entertaining space on a tricky site due to the placement of the existing buildings and pool, Romé took our ideas and created a concept that we loved. Her enthusiasm for our project encouraged us to move forward with construction. We also used a Buildology recommended builder which helped to streamline any construction queries.
Buildology’s communication, professionalism and quality of work was outstanding throughout the entire build and we have no hesitation in recommending their services. We now live in a beautifully proportioned house which suits the way we live perfectly.

Getting the renovation process started was quite a daunting thought. We have a big family and live very busy lives, which didn’t leave a lot of time to focus on a renovation. Buildology came highly recommended and they made the whole experience and process so much easier. When my wife and I purchased our house we didn’t think to look any further than “Buildology Architectural” to design our Dream Home.
Having worked with Allan and his team for close to 5 years in our building business, “Renovation Builders” with over 100+ Renovations completed, we learnt very early on that poor plans cost clients money. So when it came to our own home the choice was simple.
