Key Design Features

6-Metre Wine Tower: A monumental architectural centerpiece housing one of Southeast Asia’s largest wine collections within a temperature-controlled glass and metal structure.

Heritage Revival: A sophisticated integration of the Shaw Brothers’ cinematic history, incorporating original elements such as the grand crystal chandeliers from the former private residence.

Materiality & Craftsmanship: A rich interior palette featuring camphor burl wood paneling, bespoke brass detailing, and exquisite hand-embroidered silk wallpapers.

Perched atop the iconic Shaw Centre in the heart of Orchard Road, 67 Pall Mall Singapore is the first Asian outpost of the world-renowned London private members’ club. Designed by Rockett Studio, the 15,000 sq ft penthouse occupies what was once the private residence and ballroom of film magnate Runme Shaw. The design is a sophisticated homage to the 1920s and 30s "Shanghai Art Deco" era, blending the club’s British heritage with Singapore’s cinematic past.

The architectural centerpiece is a majestic 6-meter-tall wine tower in the main clubroom, housing over 2,500 bottles in a temperature-controlled glass-and-metal structure. The interior features a rich palette of camphor burl wood, lush velvets, and bespoke furniture, complemented by hand-painted silk wallpapers that depict Singapore’s botanical flora. From the high-energy main dining hall with its 270-degree city views to the intimate, moody "Whisky Bar" and "Naughty Corner" on the upper level, the project is a masterclass in adaptive reuse―transforming a historic heritage space into a contemporary sanctuary for oenophiles.
