A complete home renovation and extension in Gymea Bay, south Sydney.

For this home extension and renovation, the brief was to transform the existing home both inside and out to ultimately present as a new home. An additional requirement was to maximise the space and create a free flowing living environment for the family. Internally on the top level, the kitchen was in the middle of the house and very dark. There was no real front door, just a glass sliding door which gave the family no privacy. By re-designing this level, the family was able to completely transform their existing structure and create the wonderful new home below.

After careful consideration of the brief we knew that this home required a complete renovation.  We stripped back all the combination of existing internal linings, re-ran all services in the house including electrical, plumbing and air conditioning, added new insulation, plasterboard and all internal finishes including doors, new windows and external doors. This really gave the home an entirely new look and feel alongside the open plan kitchen and large back deck entertaining area.
