A Duplex Paradise located in beautiful St Peters, Sydney.
Demolish existing original home and construct a unique architecturally designed duplex close enough to the city for convenience but far enough away to feel remote and relaxed.
Working with a cleared level block is a builder’s dream. We were faced with the usual challenges that present themselves when building close to the city like parking, work zone permits and tight streets to get trucks down. We were so lucky to have cooperative and patient neighbours to ensure we could continue progress at ease. The concrete split level slab to the ground floor and recycled brickwork walls ensured the 1st level of this 3 level build had the robust look needed to support the 2 levels above. With Scyon Linea cladding for the upper floors and an interesting colour scheme this project is easy to look at.
Internally on both sides of this duplex, there are unique and quirky designs/finishes that really give these homes the warm feeling you need for a young family to feel comfortable in.
It's all in the detail
With the architects and clients being all ladies, there was never going to be a shortage of detail in this build. It was a privilege and refreshing to work with all involved and a really enjoyable experience with some extraordinary finishes and designs.
