As home to south Auckland’s first ‘destination’ playground, Hayman Park aims to be a drawcard for people of all ages and from around the city. Its redevelopment improved the connection between the park and Manukau city centre.
In the north east corner of Hayman Park, the redevelopment included the construction of a new kiosk and toilet building, plaza and architectural canopy, half basketball court, two playground areas for children ranging in ages from 0 – 12 years, upgraded skate park, and increased width footpaths throughout the park.
JFC was required to deliver the following scope of works:

- Stormwater and sewer lines
- Hard and soft landscaping
- Lighting and building services
- Supply and installation of specialist play equipment
