ArchiPro Project Summary - Michaels Ave Community Centre, completed in 2023, serves as a vibrant hub for the Ellerslie AFC and Ellerslie Cricket Club, and proudly hosted the Argentinian team during the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Home to Ellerslie AFC and the Ellerslie Cricket Club, the Michaels Ave Community Centre was completed in 2023 - just in time to host the Argentinian team for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The brainchild of the Ellerslie Sports Club Committee and Auckland Council, the centre embodies hard work, determination, and sportsmanship.

Positioned centrally in Michaels Ave reserve, surrounded by football and cricket grounds, it is a perfect location for sports and community events.

The Community Centre is built across 2 x levels, fitting with the existing split level topography of the reserve.

The upper floor features a main club room, two meeting rooms, kitchen and bar facilities, public restrooms and club administrative spaces, as well as two terraces overlooking the fields below.

The lower floor accommodates 8 x changing rooms, umpires changing rooms, first aid room, further bathroom facilities and generous gear storage spaces, directly accessible from the premier football and cricket pitches.
