Pelican Waters Renovation

We were engaged to assist with the renovation of a 4 bedroom 2 bath home at Pelican Waters, Sunshine Coast. The home was purchased as an investment with the future plan for the owner's children to move into when they settled down and have a family.  The home was to be fully renovated and modernised with a big portion of the scope focused on the redesign of the kitchen and the access of the kitchen to other areas of the home. The new design incorporated the need to maximise the space available with more preparation work surfaces, storage and organisation; as well as having more than one cook moving around the space still being part of the rest of the home.  The original kitchen was very "pokey" and did not flow easily; and there were many voids of space lost behind the walls. The kitchen wasn't appealing for anyone to cook in and seemed very boxed in with lots of traffic flow issues from occupants cutting through the hallway to get to the other side of the home. The kitchen really didn't suit the rest of the home or its central footprint with views to the pool. It needed an overhaul to suit the modern times and family/entertaining lifestyle of Queenslanders
