Remuera

Builder: Lonestar Builders The Remuera project is a refined private residence set within one of Auckland’s most established residential suburbs, where the architecture balances composure, material richness, and contemporary living. The built form is carefully scaled to respect its surroundings, while a restrained yet expressive material palette gives the home a strong sense of permanence and craftsmanship. Natural materials are central to the design, with timber, stone, and finely detailed masonry used to create texture, warmth, and durability across both interior and exterior environments. These materials are applied with consistency and restraint, reinforcing the architectural clarity of the house while ageing gracefully over time. Internally, high-quality finishes are paired with generous glazing to bring light deep into the plan and strengthen connections to landscaped outdoor spaces. The result is a calm, enduring family home that combines material integrity with comfort and understated elegance.
