“Especially being an airport gym, the client wanted to make this area super easy to use. By including Excite Live equipment, everything is guided in training sessions, and if you use the Technogym app, you can use that as well. It just makes it super easy for people,” says Hunt.
“We’ve worked on many hotel gyms because clients want quality. For many of their guests, they want familiarity and equipment they’ve used before at other high-level accommodation.”
In-room fitness and recovery
As well as the gym, the Pullman Hotel also provides in-room equipment for those who book the package at reservation. Including items such as resistance bands, dumbbells, a yoga mat and a recovery foam roller, it makes it easy for people to be able to exercise in their room.
“Especially for people who have just arrived after a long flight, it means they can do a bit of recovery as well,” says Hunt. “Internationally this is relatively popular now, but the Pullman is the first in New Zealand to offer it in this way.”
