Viking Roofspec offers two engineered floating deck solutions ideal for both residential and commercial projects: the Silca/Buzon System and the TreadTech/Buzon System. Designed for installation over waterproof membranes or at ground level, these systems enable seamless indoor-outdoor transitions with superior structural performance.

Viking Buzon Pedestals

At the heart of both systems are Viking Buzon adjustable pedestals, offering precise height and slope adjustment (up to 1 metre height and up to 10% slope correction with an additional slope corrector). These pedestals support tile, paver, or timber surfaces while maintaining a compliant 100mm clearance from internal floor levels, as required by NZBC Clause E2 (external moisture).

Silca/Buzon System

  • Durable, load-bearing substrate: UV-stable polymer grates made from 100% recycled material.
  • Supports tiled or paved surfaces for decks, pool surrounds, and landscaped areas.
  • Fully compliant with NZBC B1 (Structure), B2 (Durability), and E2 (External Moisture).
  • Ideal for high-traffic, wet environments—free-draining and permeable.

TreadTech/Buzon System

  • Lightweight aluminium framing designed to support timber, composite decking, structural tiles or pavers.
  • Available in two configurations:
    Low-profile (2D): Ideal for restricted height thresholds.
    Standard (3D): Fewer pedestals required, suitable where vertical clearance allows.
