By ASC Architects
The National Bank network of retail branches is being merged into the ANZ Bank network to form a re-branded network of around 270 branches in New Zealand. ASC Architects have been working with the ANZ Bank on new retail designs since 2009, introducing the best of the old National Bank design philosophy into a new look for ANZ, aligned to their international design standards.
New sites are being established of which this example in Silverdale, Auckland is number seven. Concurrently, we are updating the interiors of every older branch in the combined network to give a consistent presentation to the Bank.
We have introduced a warmer colour pallet and extensive use of sustainable timbers in a fresh new design style to create a friendly and welcoming retail banking environment.
