Aoki

Aoki is a sanctuary of refined Japanese gastronomy, where the interior design by the renowned SPIN Design Studio perfectly mirrors the precision and artistry of Chef Kunio Aoki’s cuisine. Reimagined for its new location at Millenia Walk in 2024, the space is a masterclass in modern Zen aesthetics, characterized by minimalist elegance and a sophisticated play of natural textures. The centerpiece of this intimate sanctuary is the stunning 10-seater sushi counter, meticulously crafted from a single, majestic slab of top-grade Hinoki wood. Behind the chefs, intricate handcrafted wooden panels span the length of the wall, symbolizing the seamless fusion of Japanese "Takumi" (craftsmanship) with contemporary elegance. The layout―comprising the main counter and two private dining rooms―is designed to bridge the distance between chef and guest, fostering a deeply immersive and personal omakase experience. Every detail, from the soft indirect lighting to the textured stone walls, reflects a reverence for tradition while embracing a refined, modern luxury. This relocation marks a triumphant return to the heart of Edo-style nigiri sushi, housed within a space that offers a serene escape from the vibrant city outside.
